The global real estate industry’s crème de la crème had gathered in Miami, United States recently to honour outstanding projects that redefine the art and science of property development.
“SDB’s remarkable achievement at the FIABCI Awards is a resounding testament to our unyielding pursuit of excellence,” the company said in a statement.
Competing against international giants, the Malaysian developer’s winning project, Jui Residences in Singapore, stood tall, captivating judges and industry experts alike with its ingenious fusion of heritage, conservation and architectural innovations.
“We are thrilled and deeply honoured to receive the World Gold Award for the Residential Mid-Rise category at the FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards” said SDB managing director Teh Lip Kim.
“This recognition reaffirms our commitment to create transformative developments that will transcend mere structures but also to enrich the lives and experiences of our customers.”
Jui Residences, a waterfront residential development is inspired by art deco heritage and situated right next to the Kallang River along Serangoon Road, Singapore. The 18-storey tower presents 117 contemporarily crafted units ranging from 431sq ft to 1,001 sq ft, with column-less layouts, allowing maximum natural lighting and ventilation throughout each home.
Surrounding Jui Residences are convenient amenities that are found within an integrated transportation network – including public transportation and expressways that provide excellent access to other parts of Singapore. The integration of this development with the Kallang Park Connector Network (“PCN”) enables the residents to engage in green leisure activities such as jogging, cycling or taking a relaxing stroll within Singapore’s ever-growing PCN.
“Jui Residences embodies our relentless pursuit of excellence and commitment to set new benchmarks and build lifelong relationships with all of our customers, which is in line with our Brand Promise ‘Driving Excellence, Building Lifelong Relationships’,” added Teh.
The centrepiece at Jui Residences is the conserved National Aerated Water Co. Ltd. Building, a cultural heritage that was built in 1954 and is associated with the bottling of Singapore’s popular soft drink labels – Sinalco and Kickapoo. This building, which is located within the grounds of Jui Residences development also won the FIABCI Singapore Award in the Heritage category.
