Veteran journalists Brigitte Rozario and N. Rama Lohan will be conducting the Editing Matters workshop on 14 March 2020 from 9am to 5pm at Info Trek in Amcorp Mall, Petaling Jaya.
The workshop is suitable for anyone who writes, from copywriters to those in public relations, corporate communications, media, publishing, marketing and branding.
Learning to edit is not purely about having good grammar and knowing how to spell. It’s about understanding each article and report, ensuring it makes sense, having the right tone and flow, and communicating effectively.
The editing workshop will cover:

2) Flow and tone
3) How and when to trim
4) Spotting missing information
5) Plagiarism
6) Making sense of information/numbers

Lohan is a freelance writer/editor and a musician. He has been writing entertainment and feature articles since 1994. He spent 23 years at The Sun and The Star.
